Square Art Space and Consultancy is an independent platform that provides art consultancy and curatorial services for museums, institutions, and private collectors. These services include museum and exhibition planning and design, curation, research and documentation, art valuation,  authentication, and restoration, in addition to compiling and creating written content for corporate identity purposes.

Because of our commitment to art and its role in enhancing individual as well as social development, we are keen on engaging the wider art-viewing public, as well as extending our reach to develop and transform the arts and culture environment in our local context and beyond. We also work with various organizations on establishing corporate social responsibility initiatives that integrate art and culture.

Through our activities and events, we collaborate with both public and private institutions, as well as artists and community members to promote our vision of artistic and cultural engagement. As the first curator-led art consultancy of its kind in the country, Square is headed by founders with vast knowledge and experience in the Egyptian, African, and Middle Eastern art market.

We are a group of artists and art experts inspired by our vibrant artistic and cultural landscape, and eager to share our experience in order to transform our surroundings with our community members. Our previous and ongoing projects have provided us with a wealth of practical and conceptual insight in the art field both locally and globally, and we are passionate about extending these resources for the benefit of our cultural, social and artistic context.

The name Square is inspired by Tahrir Square in downtown Cairo, a place that has become emblematic of public expression in the country since its inception and well through to the contemporary. Its unique history and importance continue to evolve as the surrounding neighborhood reemerges as a cultural hub hosting interactive public events and shows, yet still retaining elements of its past. Our logo features the actual layout of the square with its five entrances, bringing its legacy to the forefront and visualizing the future.
